The restaurant is situated on a hillside in Constantia and features a drool-worthy view of the vineyard-covered landscape. Chefs Scot Kirton and James Gaag are considered to be among the best in the world. The seasonal ingredients are locally procured, and the service is similar to what can be found in many European Michelin-starred restaurants.

After making his bones in the kitchen at London’s St. John, Fergus Henderson’s Nose-to-Tail standard bearer, Chef Giles Edwards returned to his native South Africa and opened La Tête in 2016.
